Before I got here where I am today I was always stagnant, I play different sports and martial arts like basketball, soccer, badminton and Arnis. I was always selected to compete in the regional and national level but never really prevail that much.
It actually got me thinking is this really what I want to do? I fall into a deep pit asking myself while doing so I got addicted to gaming and card games which is actually fun and makes me escape from my problems. Which I learned not really a good one. That is why I learned how to manage myself and balance out my life.
In the process of balancing I found out and learned about stocks, trading and investing and I told myself this is really good and a great opportunity for my skillset. In doing so I earned money and felt great about myself that is why I seek opportunities and grab each everyone of them right now I am still a work in progress and this is how I found out about crypto and Axie Infinity which I can play and earn.
What I want to leave you as a message in my story is that like Socrates said “know thyself” and other philosophers said “I think, therefore I am” which means you have to seek yourself first know what is best for you and the rest will follow then seek opportunities grab them and grow. Never stop learning!!!!
I’m Oxygen of DGM for me the gaming community have growing exponentially these past few years specially this pandemic where as gaming took off in a high level. What I can see is that gaming has various paths to go at the same time. Here are some examples:
Gaming as a Sport
Right now it is really happening like in the SEA games where as some games are played in the international level in a way that it was supported by a lot of people, unlike in the early days that they would only say that gaming is just a hobby. Right now it is opening a new career spot in terms of sports.
Gaming as a Profession
As everyone knows NFT games are really a trend right now gaming has evolved in which you will play to earn tokens where you will be able to cash it out. This cam be a full time job given the right circumstances and growth of the community. Yes it is not stable yet because it is just developing and in its first phase but I believe that this is really the future of gaming, instead of just investing to skins in the game that will only make you look and feel good, people will start investing in order to earn and grow.
This is an Axie Infinity Class Guide. It starts off with how your class influences your playstyle: learn how to deal 25% additional damage and calculate your stats. After that we dive into the class-specific section, which is an extensive overview of body parts, who decide what cards (abilities) an Axie has.
What classes can you choose from?
Axie Infinity has a total of 9 classes that have been released to the game. Three of these are special classes that do not have their own Body Parts (or Class Cards). I have not concluced them in the Class Guide for that reason, because this guide mainly showcases Class Body Parts.
The class of an Axie is important for combat, because each class is weak and strong against other classes. The Axie that has the class advantage will deal 15% additional damage. The Axie that has the class disadvantage will deal 15% less damage. For example, a Bird class Axie deals 15% additional damage to a Beast class Axie.
In addition, when an Axie of a certain class uses a card from its own class, it gets a 10% attack and shield bonus. For example, a Plant Axie playing a plant card will receive 10% extra attack/shield.
Important to note is that these bonuses stack. A Beast Axie using a Beast card against a Plant target will do 25% (10% + 15%) more damage.
Attributes
There are 4 stats in the game, Health, Morale, Skill and Speed.
Health: The amount of damage your Axie can take before being defeated.
Morale: Morale increases critical strike chance. It also makes entering last stand more likely and adds more last stand “ticks”.
Skill: Skill adds damage when an Axie plays multiple cards at once (combo). The extra damage is calculated like this: (card attack * skill )/ 500.
Speed: Speed determines turn order. Faster Axies attack first. Speed also decreases an Axie’s chance of being the victim of a critical strike. If two Axies have the same speed, this is how attack order is determined: High speed > Low HP > High Skill > High Morale > Low Fighter ID.
An Axie’s stats are dependent on two variables: its class and its body parts. For instance the base stats of an Aquatic Axie (body) are: 39 HP, 39 Speed, 35 Skill and 27 Morale. Each card will add stats based on the type:
Aquatic: +3 Speed, +1 HP
Beast: +3 Morale, +1 Speed
Bird: +3 Speed, +1 Morale
Bug: +3 Morale, +1 HP
Plant: +3 HP, +1 Morale
Reptile, +3 HP, +1 Speed
An Axie is a ‘pure breed’ when its class and all of its body parts are of the same type. The ‘pureness’ of the Axie can be set as a filter on the Axie Marketplace, ranging from 1 to 6 body parts that are the same type as the selected class.
Axie Infinity – Class guide
The class guide shows all of the body parts for each class. An Axie has 6 body parts: eyes, ears, horns, mouth, back and tail. Each body part will determine the card (ability) the Axie can use in battle, except for the eyes and ears. The eyes and ears do not have a card (ability) connected to them. For each body part we will show the following information:
Keep in mind that an Axie is not restricted to only using cards from its own class. However, it is beneficial to play cards from your own class to gain a 10% bonus to Attack & Defense points.
The goal of this overview is to help you learn about the cards in the game. Sorting the Cards by Body Part has helped me a great deal in understanding what does and doesn’t work for each class. After each overview of Body Parts I have added a gallery showing what the Body Parts look like. This will help you learn to identify what cards can be played, just by looking at the Axie.
Secret Classes
There are three “secret” classes in Axie Infinity. The three Secret classes are:
Mech: Offspring of a purebred Beast Axie and a purebred Bug Axie.
Dawn: Offspring of a purebred Plant Axie and a purebred Bird Axie.
Dusk: Offspring of a purebred Reptile Axie and a purebred Aquatic Axie.
The “Mech” class is often referred to as “Nut”. The “Dawn” class is often reffered to as “Star”. The “Dusk” class is often referred to as “Moon”.
The Secret Classes are quite hard to breed, because you need a specific combination of two purebred Axies. Even then, there is only a 33% chance to create a Secret Class when producing offspring.
Secret Classes benefit from class advantages and disadvantages, but they do not have their own Body Parts/Cards. Remember that when an Axie plays a card belonging to its class it gets a 15% shield/attack bonus. However, since there are no secret class cards— this was making secret classes weak compared to the other 6 classes. To fix this, the secret classes get the following bonus when playing cards from the classes they share advantages/disadvantages with:
Secret Classes have different colors and base stats.

With high Speed and good HP the Aquatic Axie is incredibly versatile. An Aquatic Axie can be a good Off-tank with, because of high base HP and cards like Sponge. However, because of high Speed and cards like Perch and Piranha the Aquatic Axie can also be a very high damage backdoor Attacker.

The high Speed and Morale of the Bird Axie makes it a great choice for the role of “Attacker”. An “Attacker” Axie has at least 2 high damage cards (100+ damage) and they sacrifice survivability for high damage output. Often they are set up with 4 high damage cards, or 3 high damage cards with one card that allows the Bird to attack the backline.

The Bug class is hardly ever seen in an Axie team setup. Most their cards score low on the Card Tier List. The Bug class has a lot of cards that apply Debuffs upon use.
The Thorny Turtle build is a Meta Build that centers around the use of the ability Allergic Reaction to deal 130% damage against debuffed targets. The combo with Chomp (part: Tiny Turtle) and another card, allows you to ignore your opponents defense and to trigger the damage bonus of Allergic Reaction. 0 energy skills which cause another debuff, for example Mystic Rush (part: Laggin), can round this build up. Other debuff generating Axies in your team will improve the effectiveness of this build as well.

Adept at absorbing damage.
High HP stat (50+).
Having at least 2 high shield cards (70+). More is preferable.
The Plant class is found in nearly every Axie team. Their ability to absorb a high amount of damage, while also gaining Energy and destroying the opponent’s energy, makes this a Plant an easy choice when choosing your team setup.

Hi I’m Justine Uclaray and my IGN is Oxygen, I would like to share what got me into video games; and this is all thanks to my cousins and my uncle. You might be asking how did this happen well growing up we have a really big family and I grew up with my cousin and my uncle when I was in grade school we often go to a computer shop where we play Counter-Strike and Dota and this is my very first exposure in video games. The second video game that I used to play at home is contra if you are familiar with this it is like a console that you put a CD in the DVD. Next came up the Gameboy I got super addicted to this to the point that I do not want to go to school at the time. I got a really great background in video games next that came up is the PSP it is very nostalgic when I try to remember downloading games and buying games in the store the most memorable game for me on this console is the Crash Bandicoot I do not know anymore if my spelling is right but yes it was very fun to play. And then comes Play Station there is this game called Resistance it is my favorite in that groundbreaking console anyway all these things lead to where I am today doing what I do. I hope I got your interest and be great. Oxygen out.
