1. On Your Computer

Windows

Open Network Settings:

Access Properties:
- Click Properties in the window that opens.
Set the DNS:
- Double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
- Select Use the following DNS server addresses and input:
  - Preferred DNS: 1.1.1.1
  - Alternate DNS: 1.0.0.1
- Repeat the same steps for Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6):
  - Preferred DNS: 2606:4700:4700::1111
  - Alternate DNS: 2606:4700:4700::1001.
Save and Restart:
- Click OK and restart your internet connection.

Mac

Open Network Preferences:
- Go to System Preferences > Network.
Modify DNS Settings:
- Select your active connection and click Advanced.
- Go to the DNS tab and add:
  - 1.1.1.1
  - 1.0.0.1
  - (Optional for IPv6): 2606:4700:4700::1111 and 2606:4700:4700::1001.
Save:
- Click OK and then Apply.

2. On Your Mobile Device

iOS (iPhone/iPad)

Go to Settings:
- Open Settings > Wi-Fi.
Modify DNS:
- Tap the i icon next to your connected Wi-Fi network.
- Under DNS, select Manual.
- Delete existing entries and add:
  - 1.1.1.1
  - 1.0.0.1.
Save:
- Tap Save to apply changes.

Android

Go to Settings:
- Open Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
Modify Network:
- Tap your connected network and choose Advanced or Modify Network.
Set DNS:
- Under IP Settings, select Static.
- Set DNS 1 to 1.1.1.1 and DNS 2 to 1.0.0.1.
Save:
- Tap Save.

3. On Your Router

To apply Cloudflare DNS for all devices on your network:

Access Router Settings:
- Log into your router (usually via 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 in a browser).
Find DNS Settings:
- Locate the DNS configuration section (often under WAN or Internet settings).
Set Cloudflare DNS:
- Primary: 1.1.1.1
- Secondary: 1.0.0.1.
Save and Reboot:
- Save changes and restart the router.

4. Install the 1.1.1.1 App

For simplicity, Cloudflare offers a 1.1.1.1 App:

Download from Cloudflare’s website or app stores (iOS/Android).
